Camper toilet in winter and summer – how to choose chemicals?

Camper toilet in winter and summer – how to adapt your chemicals?

AGACHEM TOILET BLUE WEEKENDER has been designed to work over a wide temperature range – from -20°C to +40°C. However, in extreme conditions it is worth remembering a few principles.

Winter (temperatures below 0°C)

  • The product remains effective from -20°C – it does not freeze in the waste tank.
  • Dosage: unchanged – 100 ml per cycle (3 days).
  • Storage: avoid leaving the bottle in an unheated room. If the product freezes, it regains its properties after thawing at room temperature.

Summer (temperatures above +25°C)

  • High temperatures accelerate putrefaction – our liquid effectively inhibits it for a full 3 days at +27°C.
  • If the temperature exceeds +30°C, empty the tank every 2 days (instead of waiting 3 days).
  • Store the bottle in a shaded place, preferably in a locker (avoid heating above +40°C).

Spring / autumn (moderate temperatures)

This is the ideal range for Weekender – stick to the standard dosage of 100 ml and you will achieve maximum performance.

A tip for every season

Before pouring liquid into the waste tank, make sure the tank is clean (rinsed). Mixing residue of old chemical with new one may weaken the effect.
